Industrial/Mechatronic Engineer – BESS

$120,000 - $120,000 per year | Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States | Engineering

Job requirements:

  • 8+ years in manufacturing, automation, or mechatronics, preferably in energy storage or renewables.
  • Expertise in Siemens PLC, SCADA, robotics, and lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Strong project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with process optimization, FMEA assessments, and automation systems.
  • Security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) is a plus but not required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the setup, commissioning, and optimization of the BESS production line.
  • Manage teams of engineers, technicians, and contractors to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Develop and integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components (PLC, SCADA, HMI).
  • Implement lean manufacturing and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control.
